Situated in Elikatta Village, Farooqnagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy district, this prime land comes at a per-acre price of approximately ₹5.56 crore. The acquisition, facilitated by land aggregator Sai Balaji Developers, underscores Microsoft’s strategic expansion plans in the region.

Microsoft’s Response and Previous Investments

When approached for comment, Microsoft responded, stating that they had “no information to share at this time.” However, media reports suggest that this move aligns with Microsoft’s previous acquisitions in Hyderabad. In 2022, the tech giant had acquired three land parcels in the city to establish a data center.

Microsoft’s real estate investments aren’t limited to Hyderabad. In 2022, the company acquired a commercial plot in Pune spanning 10.89 lakh sq ft from Finolex Industries for ₹328.84 crore. Additionally, the Noida Authority allotted a plot of over 60,000 square meters to Microsoft India (R&D) private limited in sector-145, indicating the company’s widespread expansion plans.
